I don't think there's really a sexist thing to it though. I think it's just that she's a young associate who fubared something and got chewed out. Yeah, it was condescending, but I think that was more about position and age than gender, probably a bit of let down expectations there.

Yeah, especially a big shot firm like this is. I didn't see anything particularly mysoginistic about the partners' ass chewing of Julia in there. They didn't even bring up family or woman issues. They just complained that she'd been off her game and it caught up with her to the extent that it affected the entire firm.
