You realize Peter Peter is referring to "Peter Peter, Pumpkin Eater" the nursery rhyme, not Peter Pan, right?

I enjoyed this episode a lot. The addition of Merlin (freed from the tree, that is) kicked things up a notch for me. Watching him shut Arthur down in itself was enough to make it a good episode for me, but I'm also curious now about what he said to Emma. Does the fact that she's not good—presumably—post-memory wipe…
I'm definitely following it for the mythology more than the characters at this point, which I'm totally okay with. Sometimes it's okay for the characters to serve the plot rather than having an in-depth look at the human condition.
I was so relieved when he shut her down (well, insofar as he backed away and didn't encourage it) because it's legitimately uncomfortable to watch. It makes sense for her to see him as her anchor amidst the confusion and whatnot, but someone needs to tell her that doesn't immediately mean jumping into a romantic…
My dad asked me about the premiere date for PoI because he couldn't find it, and I had to break the news that it's not returning until mid-season. He was not happy. I might as well have told him he had to dress like a hipster until January.
3 minor characters walk into a hotel…
The grandpa annoys me too. He serves no purpose other than to make Stewart feel terrible and generally be dopey.
I'm enjoying the show so far. If I analyzed it, I could find faults, but when it comes on it makes me feel good. He may never be a Shakespearean actor, but I could watch a whole show consisting of John Stamos talking about pepper mills.
Yup. My immediate thought was "You saw them come home from the hospital with a baby. It could have been any baby at all."
I personally default to "It's only a model!" "Shhh!"
I'm not convinced that she erased their memories, either. It's too simple. They should know by now that nothing in Storybrooke is ever explained so easily.
Would it be "Lee!" like "Jeb!" ?
*goofy voice* But if all the episode titles are anagrams, what is "Pilot" an anagram of?
But, sometimes his voice sounds like Dean Winters' voice (at least to me) and then whatever he says is automatically funny because I'm picturing either Dennis Duffy or the "trouble" character from the insurance ads.
See when he said that line I was thinking "yeah, but you never actually found her, she was just dropped in your lap eventually, so how would that engender trust and/or confidence in you?"
"Jane, I told you to stay in the spaceship!"
Oh, thank goodness it's not just me. Right from the pilot, I was thinking she seems like a poor man's CCH Pounder.
I don't necessarily see it, but I was discussing the pilot with my dad, and he said he kept thinking of Dean Winters while watching.
I think I've realized at this point I'm kind of watching it from the perspective that it's basically a Shakespearean tragedy now. Everyone is flawed, lots of people are dying and the people who are standing at the end won't have a happy ending. I don't really root for anyone (other than Abby, who needs to get new…
Because Abby could have run interference. She's not going to spill the secret—it does nobody any good. If anything, she could have thrown people off the scent. Oops. Too late.
