Like Snakes On A Plane, this should just be called Black Cop White Cop.

Neither can I, Nevin.

I'd be down with an Argento Wonder Woman, though I'd prefer for her to do an Elektra: Assassin. dunno if it'd be complex enough for Harron, but Kim Pierce did a great job with war material in Stop Loss.

Has anybody mentioned the abandoned Whedon-helmed project? Got as far as pre-production and then the studio started butting heads with him over his script (Joel Silver and WB wanted a Charlie's Angels-type tongue in cheek fest; Whedon wanted a female superheroine who kicked ass).

Man, you just had to say it…

Online fans of anything: Endless ingenuity balanced by a persnickety bitchiness.

I also wait for an edit post option with bated breath.

Well…
Interesting to see the reaction to this episode, and I'm glad that some who weren't too sure about the show in the last couple of weeks seem to have found something to like here.

Actually, Sir Poodlesnort, that comes off as pretty reasoned.

This reminds me of a negative review a critic gave a local production of THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES. The critic couldn't get into the show because reindeer don't talk in real life…

Considering this is a column about a Joss Whedon show featuring Eliza Dushku, I think it's only natural to have a thread about his previous shows…

@scotteb: my pleasure.

Look right above you, guv'nah.

Uhm…Kennedy? Glorificus? Marti Noxon?

Amber Benson, whoever played Electragirl on Angel, and Jewell Staite.

pd - the top of the second episode, before the twist, had the same effect on me…"If this shadow organization is all that, why are the bulk of the clients we've seen so far (just two eps, but still) just horny little douchebags with money?"

I thought the point on those deals with basic cable is that the money came from the back end, off of DVD sales, etc…Not too sure on the model, though.

Ahh, hate mail…What's this?

Considering
I waited this long for the show to get here, I can wait three more weeks for the beginning of the Joss scripted saga.

oh, man, I aped Stan Lee…That's right, ladies, this guy's still single, ohhh yeahhh.
