They're veering away from relatability again.

The original title was "When Captain Flint Was Still A Good Man….And Thorough."

The powerful set to out win, and they when you someone eat it.

My favorite exchange of the episode:
"How much money we talking about"
"Well over ten dollars."
"If I ever found that much money, I think I'd go down to Mexico."

I just want to know where Ben Wyatt shops. He's like an issue of GQ that's come to life.

This is a great show, but does anyone else feel like they nerfed the average skill of the competitors this season? I think this helps explain the embarrassing sexism. If they picked better competitors (especially better women), then the immediate purging of females might not have happened. Tara was one of the best of

Aquatic Dinosaurs
After the absolutely pathetic third entry, the only way I'm seeing IV is if they include some of the aquatic reptiles from that era. That, and they stop lying about the size of velociraptors.

I had the same reaction, like their surprising taste in music had earned my attention.

Can't Keep
Well, it sounds like it's exactly what I expected. I will, however, be checking out the new version of Can't Keep. I always thought that was one of their better late-period songs.

"…and then I got my third hit."
I loved the story about Raylan breaking Dickie's leg. His pursuit of justice may align with the law for the most part, but he's not above enforcing his own set of right and wrong too. I also thought it was great that Olyphant played it like a story he clearly relished and had polished

Good show
I definitely enjoy this show. It can get pretty repetitive (watching two teams practice and then compete doing the exact same thing), but one thing I really appreciate is how eliminations are handled. Instead of watching idiots try to conduct diplomacy while strategizing about a vote, there's an actual

It would have been tougher if he said Attack of the Clones.

Mae Whitman?
Her?

"with Eamonn Walker as…The Chief"
Nothing says "horrible cop show" like having your only black character's sole defining characteristic be his position of authority. All the sheen of diversity with none of the awkwardness of having to write a believable minority character!

The Magicians' Alliance
We Demand To Be Taken Seriously.

The Raylan and Art Show
Although it didn't have a punchline on par with "And I thought sleeping with a witness was stupid!", I found the post-shooting repartee between Raylan and Art to be reliably funny.

But where are the Strokes?
And where the FUCK is FIREFLY??

Reserving judgment
I liked this episode well enough, but I don't think a poignant funeral episode is all that brave/unique. I remember Scrubs had a very good episode about the death of a main character's father, but by the next episode it was like nothing ever happened.

You would think so, wouldn't you? No, the Decemberists are too twee and precious for me. They go "full retard," if you will, with their dorkiness. Bands like BSP or The Hold Steady have literary, dense lyrics, but really kick-ass music.

No obtuse references?
Damn, I really liked that about their songs. Enough bland rock bands sing about manic pixie dream girls and partying in the street. I want more songs about Charles Lindbergh and Antarctic ice shelves.
