As someone who watched the entire first season I have one thing to say to HBO: Thank you for putting this turkey out of its misery.

Actually there really isn't all that much to wrap up. 13-16 more episodes should be more than enough.

Thrones is not even in the same universe of popularity as something like Friends.

Same here. I only really watch shows on Fox and CW. Other than SHIELD, which isn't great, I watch nothing on CBS/ABC/NBC.
