Coulson is a lead in name only. The show might as well be called Flying the Friendly Skyes. The amount of time the show focuses on her, either directly or via other characters talking about her, is ridiculous.
Why would the CW want it? They are positively overstocked with shows right now as it is.

Homeland had a good season and Empire was a runaway smash hit, so I don't have a problem with either nomination even though they probably wouldn't be my picks.
