Of all the things AMC should apologize about for The Walking Dead, this seems way down the list.

Hell, I want that to happen too.

It was still terrible with how it actually aired.

Why? They renewed a low rated show that isn't even that good anymore and are going to air all 13 episodes of the final season with no breaks.

The show's been running on fumes creatively for a few years now, so the sooner it's done airing the better.

Maybe, but I can't think of too many situations where a show has won no acting Emmys after dozens of nominations and suddenly wins a big one in its final season.

The only way to enjoy The Following is to embrace how terrible it is. It's the rare show that would be a worse watch if it actually improved.

This season of Homeland is easily the best since the first, and without it and The Affair airing tonight's television pretty much sucked. Thankfully Getting On was its usual great self but that's only 30 minutes.

I assumed that anyone who likes Aaron Sorkin would be okay with recycled material.

I doubt it. No cast member from Mad Men has won an Emmy for their work on the show and I fail to see any reason why that would change the final time the show is eligible.

Thanks for the input Aaron, but this episode still sucked.

Why should NBC double down on a flop? This is getting Dracula ratings, and that show was cheaper for NBC since it was a co-production and it still got canceled.

I don't worry about Hannibal at all since it is easily the cheapest drama on broadcast television by quite a large margin and it gets rapturous critical praise. It isn't going anywhere.

An A? This is the episode that finally solidified my opinion that the show is having quite the sophomore slump.

NBC just announced no back 9 order for the show. Barring a huge uptick in the ratings, that's probably all she wrote for this show after the remaining 8 episodes air.

It was a nice bump but one rating isn't necessarily a sustained improvement and it's still down from the series premiere.

Given the ratings why would you be hopeful for a second season?

That's really mean. Sure, cancer's a terrible disease but I wouldn't wish Kristina Braverman on it.

That's really all that needs to be said. Fuck this show.

And then Drew does a Roy flip.
