Indeed. That's a truly great description.

People who don't have Showtime and access to the vastly superior Masters of Sex?

Is there any other way to watch this?

That's about where I am with TD too. The directing is great, the acting performances are great, but the scripts were so bad that I can't be anything other than profoundly disappointed in it.

Absolutely not Ray Donovan.

Yeah, PD was undeniably great.

Agreed. I expected it to be terrible, since I didn't really like any of the original run after season five, but it was actually great.

Parks hasn't been any good post season three. It's a chore to watch now.

Agreed. It just goes to show that the HBO name and a movie star cast is enough to make many people elevate a complete mediocrity.

Agreed. Some great b-sides too, though that's par for the course with SP. I love Once in a While.

They literally cannot make more than 10 episodes a year.

I'm about to that point as well. It really doesn't help that every new drama I've tried out this summer (Halt & Catch Fire, The Leftovers, Tyrant, The Strain) has been absolutely terrible.

Someone criticizing "over the top drama" in a comment thread about this ridiculous show is pretty funny as well.

What wouldn't be better than the last two weeks?

Then again, what wouldn't be?

A fellow Borgias fan?

Congrats on the lack of taste, I guess.

Yeah, Sheen not being nominated was a head-scratching moment to me. He's great on this show.

He should harp away as far as I'm concerned. Hell, Rayner is giving one of the most boring lead performances I've ever seen on a supposed prestige drama.

I've found it's a good test to see if a show is truly terrible. That statement is basically damning with really, really, really faint praise.
