No need to be humble, DS9 is easily the best Trek.

Da Vinci's Demons is campy fun, just don't expect anything near the quality level of this show and it's a decent watch.
That's all fine and good for the most part, but production order isn't necessarily the order that a show is intended to air. Shows sometimes shoot episodes out of order for a variety of reasons.
All a la carte would mean is that most channels fold, and the few that are left charge people enough that they aren't really saving any money off of their current bill.
Agreed. I really didn't like the third season at all but I enjoyed the fourth season. This review is absurd.
Seitz' article is fucking embarrassing. I can't believe a critic thinks this will be the best show of 2013. If that were the case I'd give up on television entirely.
There is no way Joffrey dies this season. There are only two more damn episodes in the entire season.
AFFC/ADWD as two seasons would kill this show dead. There simply isn't enough material, especially for the characters that the television viewers consider their favorites, to make that in any way plausible.
I can't imagine HBO giving this show a 2-3 year break, especially since I assume there will be a pretty dramatic drop in the ratings once it gets into AFFC/ADWD territory.
Take it from this book reader, there is no way to get two seasons material out of AFFC and ADWD, especially since the end of season four will already be covering some of that material.
10 seasons is ridiculous for a number of reasons. This show is extremely expensive (and budgets need to rise every year), actors may start to want to leave, ratings may dip. There are many things that could happen.
Exactly. There is literally no way Joffrey's wedding is this season. Shit, there are only three episodes left in the season.
There's also probably no way that HBO is going to run a drama this expensive for 8-10 seasons, especially if the ratings start to wane in a couple of years.
Agreed. ADWD killed almost all the love I have for the series. I'll still read the last two books, but I'm definitely not eagerly awaiting them.
Right there with you buddy. I think there are a lot of people who will go see a Marvel movie but they aren't tuning in for Z-list Marvel characters week to week.
Lol.
And NCIS will crush both after a few weeks and the SHIELD audience drops.
Why?
Is 'been trying to destroy' code for "Repeatedly renewing and continuing to air", because otherwise your comment makes no sense.
The vast majority of television is still consumed by people watching live, so it absolutely isn't a waste.
