The decline of The Office started a lot sooner than that. I distinctly remember being extremely disappointed with the four awful hour long episodes that started the fourth season. And it's been all downhill since then.

Yep. She's the only one from the cast I expect to mostly fade away once it ends.
It would be nice to contain the suck to just one network.
I think this episode threw too much stuff out there. I don't see why they bothered introducing the Cas and Metatron subplot with only one episode left It seems like there's no way everything can be resolved in a remotely satisfying way with only 42 minutes left in the season.
Parks has been crap for two years so Poehler doesn't even deserve to be nominated.
It's obvious that something like this is what happened. Critics received screeners of episodes 1-3, 5 & 6 to review the show before it came out.
No idea @beema I just recall Netflix saying that it would be eligible for the Emmys.
Yep. Best actor is a way overstuffed category already and I'm sure that Kevin Spacey will get a nod for House of Cards, so there simply won't be anymore room.
Umm, have you seen the ratings this gets? This would be dead after a few episodes on a broadcast network. Almost no one watches it.
She'll get a nomination, but Danes will win for Homeland season 2. She has Emmy inertia going for her, plus a couple of really great episodes from early in the season to submit.
Oh god yes. That would be amazing.
Now I know when to add the season pass for the Daily Show again. I'm over Stewart but Oliver is golden.
Her? Is she funny?
I wish Parks and Rec had ended after season three. I haven't found much to enjoy in seasons four and five.
Ryan Murphy shows are at least entertaining, even when they eventually devolve into completely stupid messes. House of Cards was just so damn boring.
The good news: Parenthood will be back. The bad news: 22 episodes.
This is a great comment. I couldn't agree more.
Agreed. Walking Dead is a massive hit but is completely awful, while Breaking Bad and Mad Men are great but have never been big hits.
Agreed. Awake's structure was deeply flawed. Trying to shoehorn in two cases in each episode was always going to be unsatisfying no matter where the series aired.
There was some really bad writing overall in ADWD. It's one of the most disappointing books I've ever read.
