Not that anybody knows who I am, but I'm a regular reader, not exactly commenter, and I managed to get a ticket. It actually showed up at like 11:59:30 for me, which might be why.

AAAAH! I asked the last question! I got him to reflect on the occasional sadness of his career choice, which is how I start every workday.
Okay, serious question for anybody around when the movie came out: Is "Vampire's Kiss" supposed to be a comedy or serious or some kind of in-between dramedy? For a long while there it seems serious and just a bit ridiculous, but by the end he's gone completely off the rails, yelling the alphabet at people, the fake…
I'm probably only remembered, if at all, for still having a 12 Oz. Mouse avatar years after most people have even thought about the show.
Same here, although I'd rather have an abundance of quality comedy from 11-12 than none.
CW: GOOD NEWS! They've stopped making Futurama movies for now, because the series is returning. New episodes start June 24th on Comedy Central.
Completely agree. Saw them in my hometown a couple weeks ago and got the album before the release date. It's good, but not as good as live. So the next weekend I headed to philly to see them again, totally worth it.
I couldn't wait for this to come to theaters, but it never made it. I too would have seen it, probably more than once. I had to wait until it showed up on the internet.
jordanbeard: I've seen those sets and been debating about buying them. Though I want to buy the sets to support the show, I don't want to send the message that it's okay to do "best of" sets and to edit them. If I buy the inferior product, will that mean more inferior products? Or if I don't buy the product, will…
Technically you were meeting a convicted child porn enthusiast, not a child pornographer. An important difference, as the enthusiasts need some kind of counseling, while the pornographers need gunshots to the face.
heh heh heh "Bitchfork"
I actually sort of liked the first season of Assy McGee, but somehow it got even less funny in the second season.
He was just being a prick, trying to think of a movie that was pretty happy and which he could be cool by hating on.
I saw them live too, at the Church in Philly and it was nuts. Way more energetic than I thought a drum and keyboard duo's show could be.
I see it as 90% what JohnNord is referring to (WACKY DELI YEAH), and the other 10% as seeing how ridiculous they could push things while still having some kind of over-arching story.
Yeah, Frisky Dingo was supposed to have a third season, but adult swim didn't renew the contract, so they stopped production. And then the spinoff show "The Xtacles" only made it 2 episodes before it stopped production, AND THEN 70/30 productions shut down. So don't expect anything from them for awhile, which is a…
If you don't think adult swim is funny while awake and sober, then you probably don't really like adult swim.
I also enjoy the work of Zach Galifianakis and Will Arnett, but that's not going to make me sit through this.
I'm too lazy for a long involved discussion, but yes, I do believe that explaining humor ruins jokes, and I'm pretty amazed that anybody doesn't believe that. Even high minded humor, when explained out, just gives one the "Oh, that's why it's funny. Hah." You need not turn off your brain to completely sap the…
Granted it pretty much is, but only at targets that deserve it, like the Seltzer/Friedberg movies.
