I thought the episode was fine but we'll have to see. You are right Hawkins is no Jack Bauer but I hope he doesn't try to become the next Jack Bauer. He should be someone different.
As we all know Trump gets his information from TV. Trump seems like the kind of guy on CBS. Half of the time on CBS there's a show about trying to catch killers and that means there's LOTS OF KILLERS. So yeah I could see why Trump thinks that America is made up of killers.
Gossip Girl + Gilmore Girls = Riverdale
As I watch watching this feature mess, I was thinking what if terrorists decided to hack Times Square and play a copy of the video?
The movie is basically about a girl with zero personality who becomes Samara.
If Powerless wants to succeed, it's going to need to do more than poke fun at superhero tropes. It can do that for the first few episodes but it eventually needs to branch out.
Better Off Ted though had a weaker pilot so I now have hope.
Good thing that original pilot got scrapped and we got this one instead.
"It was decent, though the lead character so far is really generic. Make
her more distinctive (I mean, one of the great joys of Better Off Ted
was discovering the secret weirdness hidden beneath Ted's handsome,
polished exterior)."
I kinda wish we had seen a Wayne Security promo to really get that Better Off Ted vibe.
I remember reading an early pilot script and hating it but they made a lot of good smart changes and it worked really well. Really became like Better Off Ted but in the world with DC superheroes.
Yeah she felt like a NPC character in an RPG there.
I'm loving this show. Favorite new drama of the 2016-2017 TV season? Yeah.
To answer your final question: it CAN be a thing and it sometimes is but generally not a thing. Generally it's a thing if the network/advertisers think it's going to attract lots of teen girls.
I thought it was funny that Betty said that Veronica was acting like a butterfly when she was a wasp because that was also describing Betty.
My private rich high school had a rec room for students AND a rec room for seniors.
I've liked every season to some extent. It's why I keep sticking around: there's always something for me to like!
Anyone else think that action scene in the flashback where Oliver takes care of the guards of that guy they went after this week was one of the series best? No, nobody's even bringing it up? Oh okay.
I really am at this point against TV characters in genre fiction keeping secrets. It's become a cheap way for the writers to manufacture drama in these shows.
