Nah, we'll build a firewall and the alien cities will pay for it!

I'm a guy and obviously I know plenty of guys I don't know anyone who thinks the friend zone is actually real. I always just assumed it was a concept only film/TV characters believed and was a sign that the two would eventually bang.

I think Jemma mentioned that it had been weakened which might be why it's such a pushover. Now it'll probably regain it's strength….

"And yes, Daisy should have been the one to kill Ward. After
all, they never exactly DTRed, and I was wondering all throughout end of
Season 2 and up till now if Skyeward was sunk or what. Their
relationship was honestly left hanging. It'd been cool if she killed him
and gotten HER closure."

I think he was faking sleeping to trick Fitz. It was all an act!

Fitz' trust. It wants to back to Earth but he realizes only Fitz will know where the portal is.

Should have gotten the tour guide, looked up the best places to visit, and done her research!

And then Daisy was like "I'm just gonna object again and point out we're partners! So I'm staying" but that's at least IC since I've never really seen her fall into SHIELD hierarchy mindset.

I don't think it's redundant since they do it in very different ways.

I wasn't disagreeing with you about May. The "…" means that the criticism will hold for future episodes unless they give her more.

I also don't think Coulson would be like "well I just revenge killed the guy who killed my current GF. Sucks to be friend-zoned by May, though. Yeah that's totally what this scene is about."

"I'm serious. I happen to know one of those mythical fangirls who
defends him as this terrible abuse victim and claims that Marvel
victim-blames and whatnot by making him a bad guy instead of redeeming
him so he and Skye can fuck, and it is not only bananas, it is
appalling."

I think a huge reason the action was sidelined (like the ones you mentioned) was time. I have a feeling if they "supersized" the episode we'd have seen them.

Yeah but Coulson will be able to move on since you can only revenge kill one time (even though It Ward is here, real Ward is dead). Andrew's still out there so May….

Well I mean it is technically a game changer. Maybe a game changer you predicted but one nonetheless.

At least this episode Director Mack was able to make a call by himself even if he had to remind people that yes, he was put in charge.

Can't be Coulson since he's the primary protagonist. Would have had to be Fitz and that would have broken so many fanboy hearts. Including my own.

Can you take over for Oliver Sawa? Would be nice if an actual fan of the show covered it.

You mean stretched out and overstaying it's welcome? You know, I'm a Peter Jackson fan. It's just paying tribute to him.

I think the quality is fine. I just find it hard to care about what's going on.
