hate the music
My girlfriend watches a lot of Glee so I've seen it a few times. What I found surprising is that I didn't hate it outside of the music. I've never enjoyed musicals so the I abosolutly hate that part of the show. I kind of enjoy the basic "sitcom" parts of it. I haven't seen any of community this season,

just a thought, but with all the weirdos around here if you could edit your posts I'm certain that comment threads would become even more bizarre and unreadable. i personally would not welcome the commenting set up of a site like those on the gawker network. the typos don't bother me and if anyone goes all "grammar

I love it.
Billy Ray, being a religious man, obviously has no one but God to thank for the good in his life, and Satan to thank for the bad in his life. It obviously has nothing to do with any decisions he may have made, that would make it way too difficult to sleep at night.

@ alurin,
Not a rock group, but a great musician, I'm pretty sure Fela Kuti was still trying to inspire a revolution in the late 80's/early 90's.

wow that sounds awful

Hmm
My grammy only listens to gospel music and show tunes.

Tommy Davidson = guy on the right.

@ good point

wow - impressed that a firstie had time to attach an article and comment appropriate link.

Nico
Was Chelsea Girl released before the first VU album or was it pretty much concurrently? That track you play up there wouldn't sound too out of place on that album.

good call

Boooooooo
Boooooooooo to us! This man deserves our respect. He clearly knows how to party. We could all learn a thing or two.

herzog is not afraid to tell the same story twice.

As a fan of their catalog though, and without having heard this album, I feel like I have a pretty good impression of what this album will be like based on this review.

I liked Runner's Four a lot. They're one of those bands though were, from album to album their fans are going to disagree a ton.

When I saw them a few years ago I was floored by how big his drum sound is compared to how small his drum kit is. What is it, like 3 pieces?

Excited
Good to hear that Beats, Rhymes, and Life is decent…Documentaries and Tribe are two of my favorite things.

(also, as a postscript, I do realize that if you cave to these special interest groups often enough that it just encourages them).

For the record, I couldn't give less of a shit one way or the other, but I see why, for a company like Subway for example, it makes sense. There is a risk vs. reward thought process that as a business of that size you'd be stupid to not look at.

You wouldn't know him.
