Roundtable
If you haven't already heard of it, follow the link in the article to the description of Roundtable. Who knows how it will end up, but that is actually a pretty clever concept.

Hmmmm, not sure whose side I want to pick in that one.

Kid's Movie
This may be Knee-jerk nostalgia speaking, but isn't the goonies a kid's movie? Even more so than Gremlins or Back to the Future, or Indiana Jones? ET is a kids movie, but in a different way, I think. I think that if you judge the Goonies as a kids movie it is actually better than most of it's true peers.

Selling Out?
I know that the only reason that Pavement did the reunion tour was to get paid, but I don't find touring 10 years after breaking up to be selling out. I don't even think that "selling out" means anything nowadays when most indie/alternative bands who aren't household names are paying bills by allowing

(farts)

I'm not that good. It depends on how good the other people in the match are but I'll either come out ahead, or get destroyed. My opinion of the people who are good is that they have to be really hyper-aware of their surroundings. Get to know the maps really well, and if you need to use perks or equipment that will

3)Also, I've enjoyed the "contracts" portion that allows you to "bet" the COD points that you need to level up. You can, for example, but 25 points (in return for 100 points) that you can get a certain number of kills in 40 minutes of game time.

Multiplayer
Two neat things about the multiplayer that I didn't see mentioned in the review (unless I just missed it):
1) there is a training mode that allows you to play the maps by your self against (and with) a team of AI characters. You can change the difficulty level too. I played one round on regular though and

wow according to wikipedia he originally edited into an 8 hour movie. There is a directors cut available that is 4 hours. I just caught a clip on youtube and it seemed pretty interesting

Until the end of the world
I remember seeing the "until the end of the world" soundtrack at a local independent record store that I used to frequent during my formative years. This was early 90's and I had to be around 12 or so. I knew who most of the artists were but I wasn't a huge fan and didn't want to spend my

Hmm
Dude might be on to something.

I think that it's less a tv version of the Road, and more a tv version of those zombie related movies, comic books, video games, and books that we've been hearing so much about lately.

promophoto
I haven't seen the other movies yet, but I plan too.

Yeah I caught it on Netflix Instantly the other day, I remembered seeing it as a kid so I wanted to get a little dose of nostalgia. It may be worth fast fowarding through to check out a few scenes, but otherwise you'd have to be completely stoned off of your gourd to wring any enjoyment out of it.

Superdeformed you get points for at least properly citing your firstie reference.

Starz
"What the fuck is the Pinkerton Detective Agency" I wondered, whilst laughing out loud.

The remaining 10% will think that you are soooooooooo awesome.

Maybe Season 3 of Party Down would have happened if they recast Adam Scott and Libby Caplan with JWow and DJ Pauly D playing the same roles.

I'm gonna click it.
