I very much disagree, I didn't care for the Duh-Vinci Code at all. The Late Phillip J Fry should be in its place.
I had the exact same thought.
I guess food poisoning would be too much to ask for.
episode length
I found several of the newer episodes, such as Duh-vinci Code, Lethal Inspection, and this one to be somewhat rushed. Is there a difference in the amount of time the show had before it moved to Comedy Central? Does Comedy Central need more commercials to make up for having fewer viewers than Fox?
*Triceratops with a saddle*
Was that an "Inherit the Wind"/Clarence Darrow joke?
While I agree that some religious beliefs can be integrated with scientific findings, I am of the opinion that the respective concepts of science (form a hypothesis based on observed evidence, test against all natural, relevant examples, never be sure of anything 100%, etc.) is directly opposite that of religion…
I agree that the episode seemed rushed, and I think this has been the problem with most of the episodes that I haven't found very entertaining, The Duh-vince Code and Lethal Inspection. All three of these episodes seemed to rush through various settings and use each as joke fodder, which came across to me as somewhat…
As someone who watches food competition shows for the drama, HK is much more entertaining than Top Chef. Its a quickfire followed by a scaled down version of restaurant wars every episode, while all of the contestants are vastly under qualified and overconfident. Its Top Chef for misanthropes.
The first season I watched was the second, and I really liked Marcel. As for the Hosea season, how exactly was it a debacle? I definitely would have preferred a Carla win, but what specifically makes his season/win worse?
I would guess that it makes a difference in the fat content, specifically as opposed to corn-fed beef. If it is leaner, then it could be more susceptible to dryness.
Really? She's very spry for her age. I bet she could go for another 20 years, at least.
Alex is toast
The Blue team had the worst performance overall, but Alex had the worst individual performance. The Blue team's last minute gripes were desperate, but they were certainly accurate. If Alex is not eliminated next episode, it will be an injustice of the greatest magnitude.
That would be very streets ahead.
That just begs an "Obelisk" joke.
I think the episode is about a B-; the plot didn't really entertain me but Dr. Speckenshpell made up for any of its weaknesses. I also really liked the self-filling martini glasses.
I can't stand Stephan. I've thought he was a hapless idiot since the farm episode, in which he suggested that everyone collaborate on a fruit platter for dessert.
Heat Death! Heat Death!
I would like to use the topic of this discussion to bring up "Rapture's Delight" from American Dad. I felt that the final implication was somewhat similar.
