Anger Management is made that way. People watched first couple of episodes, FX ordered 90 more, but like 5 episodes later people stopped watching. It's fucking hilarious, they even tried to put it on Fox's summer schedule and it bombed there too.
She's on Arrow this season, it's pretty Whedon-y.
They ordered only six episodes, right? Three more weeks before Raising Hope returns then.
I feel like Whedon doesn't know how to attract audience in the beginning. People have so many choices today that you need to do something cool/shocking in the beginning of the show, you can settle down and develop characters later. "It'll get better in the second half of the season" doesn't work anymore, you'll lose…
In addition to what @avclub-b5a8e57188f396243f8f41ded04cb8c2:disqus said - preliminary ratings just came in and things are getting worse and worse, i'm expecting 1.6 this week. That said, it's still doing better than Dads and TMP and should be fine because those 2 will get cancelled first.
Yeah, it looks like Ward is supposed to be as an arrogant and selfish, but actor plays it completely straight, without a hint of cockiness or self-awareness. It makes things way worse because it looks like character actually believes that he's the best.
>Breaking Bad ended the anti-hero genre
Plot is exactly the same, but US version of Lisbeth is different. She's much softer in Fincher's movie. Here's the article about it http://www.movies.com/movie… I don't really remember which one of them is closer to the book, it's probably somewhere in between.
I was browsing imdb yesterday and noticed that there's French/British remake of The Bridge, called The Tunnel. I'll probably watch it out of sheer curiosity, to see if it bores me as much as Danish and US version.
I really liked him on Nerdist Writers Panel, but based on Bates Motel - i don't think he has chops. Show's premise is already shacky enough - whole "dead people are back and fucking up lives of their alive relatives" storyline can't continue for long, then you need to move on to mythology(original show was only 8…
Anyone else but Carlton Cuse. Original show is already Lost-y enough.
She was also better than everyone else in the film, yet she's the only one that wasn't nominated for anything. She was so freaking evil, it was great.
Jessica Chastain in Jolene. DAT STRIPTEASE. I actually have no idea what the movie is about, i only watched sex scenes on Dailymotion.
This is a movie equivalent of "Girls". So much hype surrounding what looks like rather average coming-of-age movie, but with lesbian characters. I know that it's hard for a trailer to sell a 3-hour long movie, but it just looks like another relationship drama.
"Cute" is a key word.
>conspiracy thriller
Yeah, i don't understand this complaint at all. Seven characters is not that big and they can make separate storylines about kids, adults, kids and adults together and Mike's work without problems and overcrowding. It's better than 4 characters repeating the same storylines every week(looking at you, New Girl).
