Similar shift already happened in sitcoms. After years and years of "childish husband, serious wife and their constant bitching about each other" new shows like Raising Hope, Parks and Rec, Happy Endings decided "fuck this, our married couples will actually be happy".

I'm re-watching Friday Night Lights for the third time, finished season 1 yesterday and i love it more and more with every re-watch. You should skip season 2 though, it's a fucking disaster. Just read synopsis on wiki and you'll understand why.

The Bridge is on FX. Showtime has Shameless though.

Kerry Bishé was in Argo too. And she played McNairy's wife if i remember correctly.

You're not even trying.

But that probably means that he'll not be available for season 2 of Hannibal :(

Really look forward to Halt And Catch Fire. Lee Pace and Scoot McNairy are awesome and both were stuck in supporting roles for a very long time, glad to see that they have their own show now.

That's called trolling, welcome to the internet. It's the easiest, most primitive version of trolling, but a lot of people here still buy it for some reason.

This miniseries is created by the same dude that wrote The Killing's season 1 finale, so my hopes are not that high(especially since it's another detective show with season-long arc). I understand that just because he wrote the episode doesn't mean he's entirely responsible for it, but it was a shitty episode even

Mike and Molly is pretty much became Rules of Engagement. CBS moved it to mid-season without premiere date and now they're just going to use it as a replacement show.

Glee started out as a satire of high school shows though, so 30-year old actors make sense in their case.

It looks like Maggie Carey just said "Fuck it" and invited all her friends, even though none of them looks like a high schooler.

Comparing to her previous Conan appearances this one wasn't that great. Her first interview is still the best.

Nah, Lana del Rey is pretty popular, she sold 5 million records last year or something like that.

Jesus, how many songs does she have? Every few days something new leaks. She could have released like 5 different albums with all that stuff.

Has anyone seen SDCC portraits? He looks like a different person.  I'm curious how it'll impact Andy, his character is build around this goofy chubby persona, but Pratt looks like a fucking movie star now.

He won't, Ben Schwartz is on Showtime show and he can only appear in like 4 episodes per season.

635 million is not a flop, but it's not a hit either. With a 225 million budget and probably around 100 million for promotion it means that right now it just broke even. It'll obviously make more money with DVD sales and such, but it's still not a hit.

DC is really rushing into this. Man of Steel wasn't even that big of a hit - besides mediocre critical reception it only made 600 million so far, less than The Amazing Spider-Man(you know, that movie nobody wanted).
