Refn wrote Pusher trilogy though and it was very well received. And i'm pretty sure that Amini's script was for a 80-million dollar blockbuster with Hugh Jackman and Refn only used a small part of it.

Probably because it's not a comedy. First season had couple of funny episodes, but now it's just half-hour long drama.
It's awesome that Abigail Spencer was nominated for Rectify, but it also means that critics saw the show and thought that Aiden Young is not good enough. And that just doesn't make sense to me.
>My recollection was that Matt LeBlanc did his best work as Joey in the later years of the show

Pilot had some problems, but it was also rather promising. It kinda looked like they wanted to make a show not just about the family, but about their small hometown too.
>I wonder if there's any backlash from Trekkies/Trekkers
When i watched Pushing Daisies for the first time, i really liked Chuck and Ned together. But on my second viewing i started noticing that with every episode i'm more and more irritated with Chuck, especially in second season. She knew that he loves her and pretty often used his feelings for her own advantage.
Yeah, in second "new" episode June is on her new job, etc. God, i missed this show, i didn't even realized how much. Surprisingly, i think i missed June the most, optimistic characters are a rare thing nowadays and Dreama Walker is just adorable.
Those episodes are out of order too?? I started watching it on Hulu and in the first new episode("The Leak") James is still in DWTS and Mark is still with his girlfriend. What the fuck, ABC? Does anyone know actual order?
>why you should care about it
>Is it worth the extra money?
Saw it couple of hours ago. Does anyone else had trouble watching the first ~7 minutes? It was like an explosion of colors and loud sounds right in your face. And i never had problems with 3D before.
I don't know about interest from cable networks right now, but i'm 100% sure that if Hannibal gets cancelled they'll try to do something about that a lot of networks will be interested, show has a lot of awards potential, doesn't cost much and already has a huge fanbase.
> I seriously doubt both Anna Faris and Allison Janney would be desperate enough to accept doing a shitty multi-cam on CBS just for money
Man, Anna Faris is really desperate. She plays a mother of two and her daughter is 15 years old? Faris pretty much acknowledges that she's middle-aged, that's like a death sentence in Hollywood if you're an actress.
I couldn't sit through pilot, it was so fucking awful. Not so long ago i watched couple of episodes from season 2 and it was exactly the same show.
