You really think that NBC's schedule is going to be full? For example - Revolution is going to be dead/moved to Saturday within weeks. Maybe Dracula or that Pirate show bombs. Summer could work too, i'm pretty sure they originally wanted to air it in summer this year.

>Also, they seem to be rather uncomfortable with the subject matter

Parks as a lead-in and against TBBT is better than some random new comedy. Parks are going to be fine(ratings might become worse, but it's definitely not going to crash and burn) and one of the new shows now at least has a chance.

If you're talking about 2 Broke Girls, then yes -  they know. Last year at the Press tour critics went berserk on them and show's creator started making racist jokes to defend himself, then said that it's okay for him to make these jokes because he's gay and then stormed out from the room. Both main actresses were

Doubt it. This year Parks had better ratings than all NBC's new comedies and this could easily happen again, just look at their new sictoms.

You're thinking about different pilot. Parker Posey one is about blind dad with J.K. Simmons, "The Family…something".

NBC released first clip yesterday and it looks god-awful. Also, "studio audience" sounds fake, i'm pretty sure it's just a laugh track, and a pretty bad one.

>Parks And Recreation at 8 probably won’t work

What the fuck are you talking about? The Mindy Project  is better than other comedies because it's a mess?

You know what i noticed? Every time someone on my dash on Tumblr reblogs one of the The Mindy Project's gifs - it's a gif with Mindy Kalling and she's the only in the frame. I've never seen a gif of two characters interacting or a gif with a different character from the show. This show is essentially "Mindy Kalling

Watched Shotgun Stories. First 35 minutes are kinda slow and messy, but second half is really god. Movie turned into a greek tragedy so fast that i barely noticed. And i really liked that the only reasonable character was on the "other" side.

Thursday's schedule is fucking terrible imo. I understand why they put Parks  against TBBT, but everything else is just stupid. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY looks awful, NBC's audience is going to hate it, i guarantee it. THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW  on 9:30? It's like your safest bet, people like him, build  a block around it.

Spader in that trailer is giving me serious Hannibal Lecter vibes. Especially that scene where he eats alone and then nods to a camera - it's straight from Red Dragon.

CBS dramas are pretty good. The Good Wife is great, i don't watch Person of Interest, but one of my friends loves it and it gets a lot of A/A- grades here. Elementary is enjoyable. None of these is must-see tv tho.

To be fair - Hannibal doesn't really needs to be in NBC's fall schedule, it's a mid-season show, they can put it anywhere.

I used to love HIMYM, but now i just watch it because there's nothing else on Mondays. And sometimes, when i'm really bored - i watch TBBT, comparing to other Lorre's shows it's  harmless and can be amusing. If "Mom" is at least  as good as TBBT, it will be good enough for me, i actually don't mind Farris.

I'll probably check out The Millers, Mom and Crazy Ones. None of them sounds good, but all have really good cast, so maybe that'll help.  Greg Garcia one might be actually good, his humor was always character-based, that could work with multicam.
