I would have been disappointed, too, if I had expected this to be a combination of what I considered to be the scariest movies of all time.

I had a feeling that Amelie would enjoy Milla's presence, mostly because I thought there was a similarity between Milla's delivery and Amelie's more exuberant comments on the Hater podcast. They'd be BFFs.

Irina is as bitchy as Kenley, but Kenley had an annoying voice, a played-out point-of-view, and the status of tugboat captain's daughter. Irina is, unfortunately, talented (and nice to look at). It'd be a shame if a hateful bitch won the season.

I don't know anything about fashion but even I noticed that it looked like Gordana was dressing in the dark.

In defense of the Tim Gunn reveal: it was awesome since everybody wanted to see Kenley smacked down for giving attitude to Tim all season.

I liked it
I have a lot of hate for Heroes, but I thought this episode was solid. Good superhero action: Hiro as altruistic powers mentor, Peter doing something crazy/heroic and laughing about it. AND No whiny Parkman. No Tracy. No Ando. Minimal Claire.

And boot girl. She wasn't nice, either.

Bitches
Are there a lot of bitches this season? Lulu, Bianca, Ashley, Kara came across like total bitches, and were then eliminated. I'm a relatively new viewer, so are the scenes of models in a pile, complaining about other models par for the ANTM course?

When they signed on to become an active, the dolls consented to everything that entails, including engagements of a sexual nature. So, is there such thing as proactive consent (agreeing to something before you're aware of the details)?

1. I'm sold, provided you add in a time travel visit to an apocalyptic post-flood future. Also, "Evaporate That Bitch" mobisodes.

I missed Zeroes comment when I made my post below, re: HRG. I'm glad that this is bugging someone else.

HRG
I really don't like the name "HRG". I watched the show from the beginning on DVD, so I was a full season in before I realized that we didn't know his first name, and that was only because they seemed to make a big deal about him saying his name is "Noah".

Soul Survivors?? Any movie that ends with SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER "don't worry honey it was all a dream" SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER deserves its bad reputation.

Damn right it's a "Secret Success"
I love this movie.

"Unless the cost is remarkably high, the good things in life don't need to justify themselves. That's part of the reason why they're good."

CGI blob powers.
p.s. That's gross.

I've completely flipped on Topher. At first, I thought he was just a Xander-knockoff and mouthpiece for Whedon when he wanted to insert a snarky comment. Since then, I think he's come into his own as a character. I still think that he's a Whedon-mouthpiece, but moreso in the way that the most poignant lines in these
