no doubt, and i also miss the days when guest stars were rare.

i watched the shining once with beck's "the information" playing. during the room 237 scene "movie theme" was playing, and it was pretty cool.
i've been on vacation in california for the bridge school benefit show on sunday. somehow, i did not become aware that lou had passed until jim james from my morning jacket told me from the stage. then he brought out neil young, elvis costello, and jenny lewis, and they played an epic version of this song.
jesus christ i love this song. this was the song of the year for me and the missus in 2012, and when i saw mccartney this summer and he played it i left the ground.
me too! i saw mccartney this summer and on the way home the local radio station played this. it was awesome.
here's your review…their pizza sucks!
that's what we like to tell people.
man, i LOVE that performance from the "live peace in toronto" film. it's absolute anarchy. before i saw that i never would have thought that eric fucking clapton could get so out there. him and john standing in front of their amps, letting their guitars feedback, while yoko just shrieks. so fucking badass. at…
these dipshits have one thing going for them…the hotness of alexis krauss. every time i hear that terrible song that's now selling iphones i just want to hear funkadelic.
they should talk to the president and congress. this could be a solution to the shutdown.
how about hullabolooza or chef aid?
yep, i made a comment above about this. los angeles got it.
i saw spinal tap at the greek theater in los angeles in 2001 and the folksmen opened the show. i had heard of them before but they weren't on the bill, so it was a total surprise. the highlight was their last song, "start me up".
in spoiler space, no one can hear you "meh".
years ago i decided to make a "best of frank black" mix cd for a friend. i ended up with 5 cds, and just gave up and burned her all the cds. i mean, hell, "teenager of the year" is practically a mix cd itself.
before i really got into charles' solo stuff a friend told me he liked it better than the pixies output. i thought he was crazy, but now i totally agree. those first 3 albums are incredible, and would be enough to earn him legendary status on their own.
i love dog in the sand and all the other catholics albums, but the self titled catholics record should have been on this list somewhere.
well, we're in the same universe where a man like huell can snag and then replace a pack of smokes from jesse's pocket in a few seconds…so i'll stick with my theory.
that was pretty obvious, wasn't it? walt's coughing fit was just a distraction to switch the stevia.
i'd totally go see this, but only if i could get blackout drunk off cheap vodka while waiting in line.
