i was sick with an awesome summer cold, but i decided to pick up some last minute tickets to see paul mccartney friday night in seattle.  i'm glad i did because the remaining members of nirvana showed up and played pretty much the entire encore set with him, including a mind blowing version of the song they did for

that's a "joke", huh?  wow, you learn something new every day.

stupid fucking blue monster

i have this and "greetings from camp x ray" on vinyl.  i bought them a while ago and never really listened to them.  recently i was thinning out the herd and put these in the "to go" pile.  i figured i should at least give them a listen before trading them in.  as soon as i put "group sounds" on the table i knew it

his wife's name is hilaria?  that is…mighty funny.

that's not hate…that's just science.

the neil young hatesong would be a trick.  they give neil an mp3 version of one of his own songs.

stephen stills is living (sort of) proof that cocaine is indeed a helluva drug.  he was so great in the buffalo springfield, but by the mid seventies he was artistically finished.

i've been watching the sopranos from the start again.  i just started a couple of weeks ago, so i'm still on season one.  the last episode i watched before he died was ep 8, which ends with a scene of tony and aj eating ice cream.  it's an incredibly sweet scene, with tony and aj taking turns eating whipped cream out

this is what happens when you find a stranger in the alps….zombies!

yeah, my wife texted me while i was driving home from work and i had the same reaction.  just couldn't believe it for some reason.  we just started watching the sopranos from the beginning again.  what a great show.

don't bother, dipshit.  the sopranos deserves more than your passing attention.

i envy you.

huh?  he's actually lost quite a bit of weight and looks pretty good.  dude's pushing 50, you know?  i think out of all the pixies he's aged the best.

c'mon, where's your heart, man?

i don't know, i  remember hearing that kim was very reluctant to record new material.  since frank black writes all the songs i would put the blame more on her, i guess.  wasn't bluefinger proposed to the pixies?  like i said, it would be weird without her unique style and, of course, her voice.  i personally hope

and here i am!  i wonder from that facebook post if the band is actually going to continue on.  that would be very weird, but it also could work.  i mean, kim deal isn't the best bassist on the planet, and i think it's widely known that she is the reason they never recorded any new stuff.

i love throwing that on the turntable and faking my wife out.

been on the road for too long?

just lock the bathroom. tight pants+full bladder=instant dance party.
