Well, Martin is all about deconstructing tradional fantasy, and traditional fantasy usually gears up to an epic showdown. So…maybe nothing will ever happen in this series? Maybe we are watching the Seinfeld of fantasy?

Even if "Now Pitching" isn't that good, it still has one of my favorite Sam & Diane scenes. I always laugh when Sam has to force Diane to say he was good. It's a great bit of physical comedy and it highlights their chemistry.
