It is seriously as though every part of pop culture I like in the last two weeks (save Hannibal) is trying to break my heart.

i didn't much like the finale, but agree that they didn't break up over her infertility. It never seemed to be an issue between them, not really. There have been hints in the past that he would like to be a dad, I get that, but it was never a dealbreaker. And look at that, by the end of the finale, turns out Robin…
Incredibly, incredibly true. I look forward to every one of hers, and love to rewatch them.
My god, did NBC actually promoting this episode work?? (And how quickly will they ignore this lesson?)
Well, there are always those cable networks Fuller suggested were interested in it if NBC pulls the plug. Though I thought the DVR numbers doubled the ratings last year so I kinda hope they'll consider that before making a decision.
B. I'm ashamed that it somehow was to weird for me. But I - like every sane person - loved Koogler, especially in that tag, and Britta going all the way to the other side at the end was absolutely wonderful.
I don't feel betrayed, just relentlessly sad. I never thought they would go that dark (and who knows, maybe it is a misdirect), but part of me wanted them to, just to be different, to shake things up, and to make sense of his dragging this story. I've stuck with this show - off and on, admittedly, as s5 is practically…
It's been very intermittent the last few days and I've been discouraged enough to click out, that's for sure.
Now, is nbc trumpeting the 2.2 or will they be a tad more cautious, I wonder, at least until it starts airing on its regular day and time.
This network just refuses to learn from its mistakes. And who is gonna stick around to 11:37, I think, to watch it? Even Go On aired earlier than that.
That could be a really fruitful vane, so I really want it now. But I don't see any roommate sticking, unless there aren't anymore scenes in the apartment the rest of the season. Or the roommate is always out, I guess.
Posehn as her brother could be interesting, especially if he's playing a slacker-type totally her opposite but that she has a soft spot for. (At this point I'm just spitballing ideas in my head that will probably in no way be realized in canon.)
I saw a screencap of a promo during the Olympics of a large, bearded guy in their apartment Abed, Annie and Rachel, so if anyone finds that again, maybe we could match him to a name.
I suppose he must have just moved back to the area and he needs a place to stay. I'm gonna find it hard to take somewhat if he's been around Greendale the entire time without even a slight mention.
Yeah, the only thing that bothers me is the lack of a mention (well, and the fact that this means yet another member of her family abandoned/failed her). I only very occasionally remember Britta has a brother, but at least he has officially existed before.
:eyebrow raise:
Happy birthday, Digi!
Half of me feels that PaleyFest would cease to exist without a Community panel.
