Oh, I really liked her reviews. Sad to see her go.

Has the MJF Show improved any? If we're now in yet another Thursday reality where the (at least somewhat) deserving shows do poorly while the why-is-this-airing-at-all shows do better, I'm inclined to believe it has. Maybe found a rhythm, if not its rhythm.
Happy birthday, Janine!
I watched the Garden of Words trailer and it definitely looks like something I'd really like, so adding that to my queue for sure. Yeah, Ghibli is fantastic, so will need to acquire that Poppy Hill soon, and I really should watch Nausicaa finally (I almost can't believe I've never watched it, seeing as how it's been…
I don't like them much at all, but I'm seeing this as yet another opportunity to get my brother to watch an episode. He really enjoyed Critical Film Studies and Modern Warfare, but he just doesn't like the show enough to watch it regularly. He has recently come to appreciate Dan Harmon's writing online, so there may…
I watched Wolf Children (Ookami no Kodomo Ame to Yuki) last night (really good, bawled like a baby) and it made me want to watch more anime films. It's been a while since I watched one - think the last was Ponyo -and I'd prefer not to start any anime series right now (have enough TV on my plate). Anyone have any…
The more excited I get for this season, the more awesome guest stars they get, the more I believe he'll be able to get a short, surprise of a scene with Chevy. It would be great press for them both and really, Chevy could get an honest exit for his character that way. I would like to believe he'd want to do the…
When I realized last year that Sony owned it, I knew it had a fighting chance after all.
I do worry about Hannibal's return, if they're on the air together. I have a very hard time thinking that fans of both shows really exist, so I doubt I'd hear directly from them, but otherwise, the comparisons will be astronomically different int terms of quality (and ratings, alas, which worry me the most). But if…
They're required to keep airing MJF Show, though, right? I guess they could move it to another night to make room for Community, as I doubt they'd push P&R out.
I really hope they don't pull Wonderland; I mean, they didn't with Last Resort last year, they let it finish onscreen rather than just put everything online. I just want to see the whole 12/13 eps, and it's self-contained anyway, from what I've heard.
Being thankful for IE is a strange thing, but it's understandable in this case.
He's finally making it worth it to keep following him on twitter/IG. It's a nice gesture, especially since we're always in the dark when it comes to him.
I noticed yesterday that it was on during the afternoon and I thought that was a good sign, that maybe they'd treat it like they did Scrubs back in the day. Once a week (even a s a block) seemed sorta odd for a syndication deal anyway.
I'm partly concerned that if it does return early and is slaughtered, it'll be pulled too, and any hope of the mystical sixth season will be lost.
@avclub-a9ba553828f4a0900f6d53a825651453:disqus I am just going to refuse to believe that is possible and it's actually because Hannibal fans are awesome and weird.
I have a hatred for this show so intense that it really is getting to be a problem. It's reminding me of the dislike I felt for Goon at its outset, though this is stronger for some reason.
I've been kinda slow on getting through the series of netflix but my dvr continued to tape when this season started and I didn't stop it. Kinda put it on out of habit after I watched Bob's Burgers tonight and knew I'd made the right decision when I saw his name.
