Yea they tried to do too much with this episode. Even re-watched it because I was sure i'd missed something  the first time through. Man next season could get really messy with 24 episodes.

I can't fully remember but I think only half of her body was buried so that's why she didn't heal. My friend has a theory about Lydia. So when Derek's sister was buried in wolfsbane, she kept her human form but when they removed it, she returned to wolf form. Since Lydia is immune, Peter wants her to remove the wolfsbane from his grave so he can turn into a wolf and heal himself. Not sure if that's how it works but…

I originally thought that the "Did the president call?" line would get old, but it has turned into my favorite running gag. Hoping that the fake calls from the president to avoid people keeps going as well.
