If you want to dive deeper into that Gories/Oblivians/Billy Childish era, I highly recommend We Never Learn: The Gunk Punk Undergut. It's a bit sloppy, but it was written by the lead singer of New Bomb Turks, who obviously knows his shit, and he lands great interviews with tons of incredible bands.
