I'm so so so done with the kidnapped girl in the basement plot, it feels so out of place tonally and it's not like the show doesn't have enough other stories to go around anyway, and it's just… not fun the way the rest of the show is

I remember her having a great scene in one of the earlier seasons telling a kid who doesn't believe in god that she doesn't either, and I don't think they backed down from that either, also refreshing

No way, Meredith's best moment (of the handful of seasons I watched, but) was her "you don't get to call me a whore" to Derek when he was being all creepy and possessive like the proto-President Fitz Grant that he was

No way does having Carey Lowell and Benjamin Bratt while NOT having Jill Hennessy and Chris Noth give 7 a "better ensemble"

I guess by that logic we can assume things are going great for Sal, at least

I don't care much about Katy Perry but if claims I've read that he announced he wanted a divorce via text message, on top of having made jokes about her onstage while they were married and he didn't know she was in the audience, are true, then I wouldn't say I'm CROSS with him but it at least gives me reason to roll

Although, doesn't he dump her on a boat in the middle of a lake? Yeah he shouldn't keep dating someone he doesn't have any interest in, but he definitely handled that in a pretty dick way

YOU TOOK ME BY THE HA-AND
MADE ME A MANNNNN

And Gary saying "I'm very close to my mother" and someone in a banana costume

I didn't even think of that as a reference but it might have been, considering Gary's "I'm very close to my mother" line and the banana suit which, like, how were those not AD references, right? So maybe they went for Office Space too

I was with him on the music choices! He picked two great songs

It's great how far some of these commenters are willing to take their "proving my point exactly while pretending to not understand it at all" bit, huh

lol seriously

Is there really any context that makes comparing something that is not in any way rape to rape a good idea?

@avclub-e329caccd50119a7e020cb5532f30569:disqus I'm not sure what you think Sally should have done, then, waited to see if he went ahead and started holding her down? He put his hands on her when she didn't want him to, he ignored her "no" and angrily told her that she owed it to him to go along because he'd brought

Well 1. living in the world? but okay also 2. if we examine him as a fictional character and compare him to other characters on this same show, it is a pattern that repeated entreaties from men like this, without intervention, do lead to female characters being raped (see Joan and also the German au pair who Pete

So, I'm not sure how many people will see this comment, but I do still want to point this out in case there are those who do.

I hope resenting Don ends up bringing them together

By the way was I the only one who when the headmistress lady at the boarding school mentioned someone named Carla went "wait, THAT Carla?"

Yeah and let's not forget also fucking Peggy over as far as credit for her idea, AFTER Ted had mentioned how excited she was at the prospect of winning an award for it
