Oddly enough, I guess I missed all of those comments. But I myself couldn't help thinking how much that kid looked like Michael Pitt the whole season.

the philosophy is you're an inanimate fucking object!

Damn, those 5 tracks are killer. I always loved "Hannah & Gabi" (#9).

STILT-MAN!!!
(…that's just the first obscure Daredevil reference that came to mind…)

Met him at a Wizard World convention in Chicago. Nice guy. Always enjoyed his performances. RIP.

If anyone has read Denis Johnson's novel "Already Dead: A California Gothic", that is EXACTLY what I imagine the feel of a True Detective season set in California should be like… In fact I kind of wish they would just adapt the book.

Man, "Fallen Angels" was a personal favorite. Great book, great writer. RIP.

Okay… Isn't Kevin Costner's "unseen" character that kills himself to start the plot of Big Chill even named Alex?! Homage, or trying too hard?

"I wouldn't even question it."

Never trust a sequel with Joe Mantegna in the cast. Except for Turbulence 3*! That shit was dope!

Has the possibility of a prequel series set in Sioux Falls '79 been kicked around yet?

I don't really like it, but if "Cut The Crap" wasn't a "Clash album" I would probably tolerate it a bit more and not feel so guilty when I listen to it.
(I'm sorry Mick! I'll go listen to E=MC2 on repeat right after I swear!)

I've never understood how they could leave off "The Beautiful People Are Ugly Too" from Combat Rock. Would have made an excellent follow up single to "Casbah," maybe softened the relationship between Jones and Strummer a bit, and changed their course completely.

That's it! Thanks, thought I was going clairvoyant for a minute. Good thing I held off on those lottery tickets.

Have we heard that standup bit from the middle "Pamela" before or am I imagining it? (idk it was from a lengthy promo or what but I swear I knew every word of it already)

The fact that "Amazing Spider-Man #3" wasn't properly bagged with a cardboard sheet and taped shut was absolutely cringeworthy.

"Just what do you think you're doing, Don?" I THINK LLOYD IS GOING TO BE HIS HAL!!!!!!! :)

Also Good Charlotte!

You'll like it, it's about a prison break!

I've always thought the Teen Titans "Judas Contract" storyline would make a great film… they could 'adapt' the characters into new ones (Charlton —> Watchmen style) and not worry about past continuity.
