Jesus that cartoon was so awesome. At least it was when I was 7.

Watchmen was pretty badass. But the new Sherlock Holmes looks fucking poisonous. Jude Law as Watson?? Wtf??

Am I the only person on Earth who doesn't think his movies are completely hilarious?
I remember reading somewhere (can't remember where) that described his movies as "making fun of earnest people", and it kind of put into words the quality about his movies that has always bugged me.

I wish more classically trained musicians were hilarious. Four and a half wasted years in music school spent becoming "classically trained" taught me that 99.999% of all people in the classical music industry have about as much personality as wet paper bags. I don't think that most of them even know what the concept

Jet Li learns to play piano? I don't buy it. He's Asian, so he already knew how to play it when he was born.

Tom Waits for Snowman - I like reading your posts. Not only because they're intelligent and insightful, but mostly because when I read them, in my head I hear them in Tom Waits's voice.

pete the hammer, all of my Onion books drowned in a fire.

Apparently he's good at basketball. And he'll serve you pancakes.

It's kind of like the way anything, no matter how poisonous and terrible for you, with even the slightest amount of Vitamin C is now advertised as being "rich in antioxidants"

The Soloist sounds way too much like that Sam jackson flick where he was a crazy homeless guy that was discovered to be an amazing classical pianist. Except I think it had more plot.. I seem to remember some kind of murder mystery as well? And Sam jackson lived in a cave.

Done. I think I got it from an old Onion Op Ed where Christopher Walken goes on and on about hot dogs. I searched for it but couldn't find it. Does anybody know which one I'm talking about?
