Your post just made me realize what it meant. So I'm dumb and sad with you.

Well, it was kind of late. And it depends on the Target with messy aisles.

I thought that too. Her or Rose. I feel like other options are too obvious (like Petra's mother or Nadine).

I keep thinking it's Rose too.

Well put. The novel is terrible and is what put me off of this movie.

I actually prefer the comics for the Simpsons and Futurama at this point. I'm more likely to pick up an issue of the Simpsons comics than watch a current episode. I'm not sure why they work for me, but they do.

Travis Powers: the true unsung hero of the Simpsons.

He was on both. So you're right.

I know he's conservative, but I wouldn't quite put him in the "right wing kook" category. Your account sounds pretty much like everyone's account in meeting or working with him.

The last time I watched this episode (a couple of weeks ago), that was the part that got me too.

It's become very dated, IMO.

He doesn't have kids as years of T.V. radiation has left his genitals withered and useless.

Especially since Abbadon's evil deeds had been played up so much. His character easily could have been a let down. But Mr. Rebhorn was brilliant and just elevated the series even more.

Season 39 will address that.

I used to watch him on soaps when I was a kid. The last thing I saw him in was Enlightened. An amazing career.

He mentions that. Like @fineoakstructure:disqus said, he's a big guy. I think he says he's the "heftiest animator". But I'm not sure I'd call him fat. Jim Reardon's wife is also a nurse, so I guess it hit a couple of nerves.

Ironic that the sizes only goes to 2XL.

Jim Reardon, the director, mentions on the commentary that his wife hates this episode, and walks out of the room when it comes on.

As much as I love that quote and this ep, I'll go with the Linda Lavin reference.

Recently, I love Lisa's "Eww!" when Bart chases her with his imaginary rag-on-a-stick.
