Yeah! 99736th!

I'm not as down on this show as many seem to be, but I won't be at all disappointed if this is the end, either.

Thanks. I had managed to convince myself those spots were a bad dream. Alas, likely another sign of poor ratings, ABC trying to grab all the eyeballs they can.

Given this new quirk of Robin's, I wonder how/if the TV "wall" in Barney's apartment will play a role in their reunion?

Particularly how Bela is still able to retain one fuck, even as the other is being shut up.

Thanks for the very thorough recap. I now know I don't need to bother watching the episode - I suspect anything that was decent about it was mentioned here!

Finally a show to get excited about this season. I'm making a point to enjoy this feeling in the moment, right now, since it will inevitably be crushed either by sudden cancellation or the inevitable descent into mediocrity.

I totally agree. The show does very well with short, tight narratives; the longer a scene runs, the more opportunity is there to completely screw things up, which HoW predictably does.

Shut up old fart, 'cause you're to blame!
Chevy, you give coots a bad name.
You passed on Gump; be glad you're still in the game
You give coo-hooooooooooots… a BAD NAME.

The title track just floors me. It's way past time for a song about to the desire to actually LEARN ABOUT things in order to grow, instead of simply passing through life from one mediocre experience to another.

Whoever PhotoShop'd that promotional pic deserves to be relegated to a land without electricity. I'm fairly sure they just grabbed a "Breaking Bad" glamour shot for Esposito, and the befuddled blonde to his right looks like she just learned Tide was on sale for only $3.99 at Target.
