I think having stronger characterization and focus does work to AD's benefit. It may not effect the quality necessarily, but it definitely changes the feel.

Right, I forgot about all those voices he does, which do deserve commendation(-ish). They're good.

I have a question…
Does anyone happen to know the story regarding the creative forces behind FG and AD? I mean, does Seth MacFarlane's efforts go mostly towards one and not-so-much towards the other? Do you think he delegates the duties of one to one of his staff like Jim Davis? There's got to be an explanation for

Excuse me for nerding out and taking a contention with this, but what do Peter and Stan have in common other than their dad-itude? Hamlet it ain't, but I think American Dad's characters are actually pretty well-established (as Steve mentions above).

"Juvie…nile…detention center."

I hear girls like guys who are funny. Wait, I think it's that girls like attractive guys that are funny. Wait, I think it's that girls like attractive guys that are in bands. Wait, I think it's that I'm resentful towards women.

Has anyone heard his McDonalds commercial? No lie, his voice is in a McDonalds commercial, but it's radio-only. It's brilliant.

@teh dude

Letterman is always at his best when he's cranky.

Gallagher 3 is the one who puts watermelons back together. Or is that Gallagherzarro?

That I was at a Good Charlotte show in my teen years, when I was young and dumb, has nothing to do with my point and furthermore blah you know what forget it.

Well, if you consider the talent scale, Larry is at least as good an actor as Bob Saget, who's better than Hefner but not as good as Leary or Anderson, so he barely scraped by on that, maybe.

What is there about Larry the Cable Guy except that he's stupid, rich, and fake? Like all other recent roasts, Greg Giraldo and those of his ilk will come up with a few funny metaphors (like when he called Flava Flav "a skeleton wrapped in electrical tape"), and there might be a surprise like Norm at the Saget roast.

What does that have to do with anything?

It's German for "The Bart, The!"

*slow sarcastic applause*

Hurry up please it's time

I still prefer the zaftig Rue

Has anyone thought this might reflect "positively" on Mencia? I mean the guy's whole schtick is being "too hot for TV" offensive and "real" about things. 100 internet bucks says he'll carry this event around like a trophy.
