The video game tie-in concept still sounds like a bad idea to me, but I would definitely be pretty happy to see a show with prosthetic aliens be successful, especially since recent sci-fi shows seem to be determined to avoid them.  I'll be watching this with cautious optimism.

I've been seeing ads for the show/game Defiance, which originally looked like a SyFy show based on an MMO, which would probably be the worst thing I can imagine.  However, when I saw that it was going to be made by Rockne S. O'Bannon, that made me wonder if it has hope to end up being pretty good.
