OK.  I get it. This show is just amazing.  Mary Sue Rhimes-Pope is a powerful character, and all the other frog-faced plot-advancers are good at speaking dialogue about how awesome Mary Sue Rhimes-Pope is and stuff.

Before Root was introduced, The Machine was simply a Deus Ex Machina, telling the good guys who needed saving so that the bad guys could be defeated.

I'm just going to say this:  if Fusco can disarm it, it's probably not an especially sophisticated bomb.

Finally the Marlon Brando biopic we've all been waiting for!

I thought this was going to be terrible.  I ended up finding it… generally tolerable.

Madeleine Peyroux does a pretty interesting cover of this song:

When will a movie speak to the very real disease that affects everyone here?  I am speaking, obviously, of Snark Addiction.

Right after the episode where one of the sons draws a line across the middle of the apartment and forbids his dad to cross it.

If my twitter feed is any indication, it seems like every internet hipster despises this show… yet continues to watch every single episode.  We're 2 seasons in now, why are they still watching it?  So they can get on social media/message boards every week to tell the people who don't hate the show how fucking stupid

It would be pretty awesome if God decided to Rapture the entire population of Syracuse — and nobody else.  Epic act of divine trolling.

They did make their own opinions.  And they're expressing them.

"I don't want to brag, but I'm something of an expert on live child sex shows. And, with some degree of expertise, I can state that Miss Cyrus's performance was subpar."

I sort of feel the same way.  The show is kind of preposterous, but it turned out to be surprisingly watchable.  I think it's the result of good casting.  It seems like we Americans can't get enough of Australian actors playing Americans on American TV.

Sonic Youth and Girls:  Two things people pretend to enjoy, but can't actually sit through for more than 5 minutes.

This show is garbage.  Trashy tweener pulp to satiate an audience of 12 year old girls who seemingly control the entirety of popular culture.  Even a halfway watchable show like Bunheads got shitcannned so that this show could get a dozen sequels: Bitchy Little Liars, Lying Little Bitches, Pretty Lying Liars, Lying

I like this track.  It's mainstream, radio ready hiphop *that actually sounds like hiphop*.  For me, Eminem is always more entertaining when he's got a chip on his shoulder… and that's been severely missing from him in recent years.

"She wasn't trying to lure us in with overt sexuality; she was just throwing it in our faces but none of us wanted it."
Oh, I think she was trying.  And failing.  Spectacularly.

If this sketch aired on Tosh.0, most of you would be defending it.

I think a lot of Elliott fans gravitate towards his sparser, more lo-fi early stuff… some of them may have been put off by the fuller arrangements on XO.  I'm with you though, XO is probably my favorite of his albums.
