Since this plot was a pretty straight-forward cop of Ariel Dorfman's play "Death and the Maiden", they might have followed through on what the play did, and left the guilt/innocence of the salesman ambiguous.

I happy to see Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair get another shot at doing a show together. I didn't think Best Friends Forever was terrible, but I think there's got to be a better format for those two.
The show isn't titled yet. They could do a lot worse than naming the series "Bears, Bears, Bears!"
From what I've seen on here, Girls supporters tend to imply that all criticisms of the show are inherently sexist.
I stand here humbled by the unassailable opinions of "people here". So aces retort!
Starting next week, the AV Club presents an 11 part interview with the showrunners on Malibu Country.
When did Kevin Sorbo become President of Programming for NBC?
I like Hooverphonic's new singer. Their previous vocalist was talented, but was a little too theatrical for my liking (although that worked great on the Jackie Cane album, which was supposed to be theatrical).
And I used to buy CDs by bands I didn't like because I was trying to impress the hot girl who worked at the record store. But I grew out of that.
If VanDerWerff really wanted click-bait he would have gone with the headline "The Mindy Project should be more like GIRLS".
If you miss the scowl, wait for Longmire to return this summer. Robert Taylor can meanmug with the best of them.
"The Smash Diaries: How America's Favorite Hate-Watch Show Became Sufficiently Self-Concious that It's Hate-Watching Fans Decided It Wasn't Funny To Make Fun of It On Twitter Anymore."
I didn't say that nobody criticized Serena ever. Yes, some gutsy members of the press had the nerve to say that it wasn't very nice for Serena to threaten to kill a line judge/threaten a ref with violence if she ever saw her in private. But if you don't follow tennis, you don't see the level of sycophancy displayed…
"Serena’s occasional outbursts at lineswomen and umpires is addressed, and correctly dismissed (by John McEnroe) as behavior that tends to be much less controversial when it comes from a white male." I can't think of a sport where an athlete has repeatedly threatened violence against refs/officials and gotten off…
To be fair, handicapped people totally need to be taken down a few pegs. If this 6 foot 2 aryan isn't going to put defective people in their place, who will?
That's my response to pretty much everything NBC does.
He's not the utter hack that Tosh is, but he's still mining the same vein of "comedy for smug white guys". This seems to be the burgeoning new Comedy Central brand. Please note that Jim Norton's upcoming special is titled "Please Be Offended". And to be clear, Jim Norton is a talented guy… but when you put this…
Mad Libs: Angry Internet Post Edition.
I feel like there's a large portion of the internet that has a Mad Libs version of an angry, misogynistic screed about Amanda Palmer pre-written. They're waiting only for Palmer to say or do… well, *anything*, so they can quickly "fill in the blanks" and hit the post button.
Am I alone in thinking that this show overplays the jealousy card? It seems like damn near every character is desperately jealous of some other character… and it's getting a bit tiresome.
