The Ice Warriors were some of the more nuanced recurring alien races in the classic series.  It's nice to have them back, though I'm kind of surprised a Grand Marshal wasn't wearing the normal armor of a high-ranking soldier (probably just because it looks like a green penis, but still).

The Great Intelligence, Ice Warriors, Cybermen (upcoming) and bases under siege.  It's Season 5 all over again.
