I also would like a domesticated badger.

This is exactly what goes through my head every time I hear "Don't Trust the B——…"

I don't know if you've already spoken with with (I assume) Yost, but seeing last night's episode made me think about the allusions to the Wizard of Oz throughout the season, there was an episode named and a discussion of "The Man Behind the Curtain," there was Quarles desire to go "home" from what was certainly a

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of either A) what I said, up there, or B) Monty Python.

He managed to make me forget by the end of season 4 about Stephen Colbert.

Isn't Bill Hader the current voice of Professor Richard Impossible?

I was thinking maybe "All I Need" for David Robert Jones.

So then would Peter's be "How to Disappear Completely"?

"Jock rock my ass! Listen to those lyrics, man. It's all about love and longing… yeah, and hobbits too."

Speaking as someone who has tattoos on both calves, it doesn't hurt that much. Of course the only point of comparison I have is the tattoos on my ribs, so maybe take that with a grain of salt.

I have a friend who was going to get a tattoo of Hobbes in stuffed-tiger form leaning into a corner.

Two I already have: the Venture Industries logo on my left calf (yeah, the same as my avatar), and the BPRD logo on my right calf.

I agree, and really, I don't think the show really starts to coalesce until the end of the season (the same can be said of Extras), though there's some really funny stuff on the way. And some unfunny stuff too.

It really is a crossbreeding of The Office and Extras, but y'know, with a dwarf.

I mostly enjoyed the first series of Life's Too Short, though I'll agree the Liam Neeson bit is both hilarious and a bit too far from the actual thru-line of the episode. Future episodes mostly utilize the guest actors more naturally in the plot.

I would like to counter your contention that the bees were the worst part of the X-Files mytharc with two words: Super soldiers.

True!

You said "O'Reilly in the second episode of Fawlty Towers," and then I knew what was happening, and became sad.

Yeah, the benefit of working at 5 AM is I have all day to lurk around the AV Club boards.

That's a big Twinkie.
