Agreed that the issue is being taken seriously, especially for a female candidate. And Kalinda was tasked with finding anything that could be dug up.
Now, serious question from a non-American - how much attention is truly paid by the general public to State Supreme Court nominees?

That was kind of my point; it might be a logical move for the show - it would be a useful explanation for Noth's limited appearances, and another trigger for the Will/Alicia tension as her reconciliation with Peter will be hampered by him living elsewhere.

Not a chance. Instead, he's jealous that they've got a gay black character (obviously he's gay, he gets manicures!), but doesn't understand why they've not done a dozen storylines where he uses his fake blonde wife to convince people he's not gay, because SOCIETY, man.

His dad is like, a bazillionaire and as bad as the Kroll Show can be, there's no magic-portal baby.

WHAT? The one that DIDN'T have "Go ninja go ninja go!"?

Let's allow the Simpsons to answer this for us…

So it wasn't just me! I was sure it was Cary until I saw the nose.

They're back together! They tour as Tom Cochrane and Red Rider! I love them in a completely honest and non-ironic way and wish I still lived in the country to be able to see them.

Pretty much all you can do is teach Sting's History of Douchiness. You gotta just hope for an open position somewhere.

1) Diane would be a kick-ass judge but then, no Diane, which would be awful. Is she just going to marry McVeigh and tell Peter to forget about the judge thing?

I've always thought keeping up my appearance was important and always fought against the temptation to ease up on working out and eating very little (I have always had incredibly low metabolism) while in a happy relationship, and expect the same from my partners.

Sure, but at the same time, it's all possibly uninformed opinions. It's all just advice. It's not medical advice, or psychological advice, just advice.
"Hey am I the only person who gets turned on by…" questions, sure, go ahead, ask him.
But "My dick is itchy and rash-covered" questions are for your doctor, and asking

I also learned something very important about strapless dresses!
"When women do strapless gowns, they make the mistake of pulling it
tight against the bust because they think that’s what’s going to keep it
up, but really pulling it at the waist is how it keeps it up”

The CD was just the Bach music he always plays, wasn't it?

@avclub-4dea77b4de0de07675db185e1e6ec52b:disqus Wait has that always been an option?

So next week's episode is a little Sorkin Club reunion - Amanda Peet, Matthew Perry, Stockard Channing, and of course Josh Charles all listed to appear.

IMDB's page for next week's episode shows Alicia in that same super foxy dress (and Matthew Perry in white tie) so looks like we will be seeing the Shamrock dinner.

@avclub-9c3508e704aa16945cf79b05af57848c:disqus I'd bet anyone with Japanese friends or co-workers knows a few. I've certainly heard plenty. Most dog-eating-related.
