Earthling was pretty tragic, though hats off to the man for attempting a drum and bass track.

That he was, I bloomin well loved that robot.

mcc how bloody well right you are, good call (I was going to suggest Boards of Canada, but that was the following year). For me 1997 was all about Endtroducing, Dead Cities, New Forms, Prodigy, Dig Your Own Hole, and Death In Vegas. Also Primal Screams 'Vanishing Point' and Spiritualized, 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are

Yes, yes it was. Though alot of things any big popular British band did at that time seemed to warrant a major story. I remember Liam getting a skin head hair cut and it being front page news on The Sun and The Mirror (two of the three biggest selling dailies in the UK)

Wonderwall seems to appear in plenty of Oasis songs, even on the B-Side to Wonderwall, look at Masterplan….what was I doing at the time I found this out, murdering ladies of the night with my hammer. I was listening to Oasis on my sony walkman…do you remember those.

I was a Geri fan, because you could actually find porn pictures of her on the internet…which is nice.

I only hate 'Song2' The rest of Blur's catalog excites me.

The Greatest movies ever are (3) Godfather II (2) Citizen Kane and (1)Police Academy 6 City Under Siege.

no it isn't Idaho, but its full of country bumpkins. They only recently lifted a ban on Light Bulbs, as they were coincided the work of Satan for quite some time.

'His XFM show should be called "The Karl Pilkington Show, starring Karl Pilkington and a Couple Assholes Who Tagged Along With Him." '

Ricky Gervais is a country bumpkin turned city gent, perhaps that might help to explain his strange accent. Anyone from Reading who disagrees with me calling them country bumpkins should get back on their tractor and prepare for the harvest.

Gervais writes, produces and directs all his own projects.

Clive Warren! I didn't know he was in a movie? He fixed my boiler a few years back, quite a friendly jovial person, very friendly indeed. Though I didn't think he could be a movie star.

For those of a Brooker and Barley nature, the TVgohome book has been reissued…and its a bloody funny read. Especially the Daily Mail Island Newspaper.

The soundtrack that was so good I just had to see that movie….when I finally watched it I was very disapointed….still made me go out and buy Cypress Hill 'Black Sunday' so its all ying and yang really.

a good atmospheric instrumental soundtrack music is great for rpg or FPS games, this is an aside but its how I got into a lot of Electronica music Aphex Twin, warp records that sort of thing, it was something that could go with the games. I find it a bit distracting if its spoken word/audiobooks though, especially

fucksake!

cheers Bob too….I ain't that annoyed to be honest, but the BBC Worldwide thing does wind up the british press, anti-beeb types and conservatives.

cheers for the info Mr RagingBear. By the sounds of it, if I was American, I wouldn't watch it. Hell I don't even watch BBC 1.

toom, what the fuck is that, as well, that what I mean. Where the bloody hell did toom come from.
