"I can make it!"
"The voters that are going to make the difference to Labour" in terms of, you know, forming a government are the moderates who voted for Major, then Blair, then Cameron, and who actually believe in that "Strong, stable" shit.
Is the argument really that the engagement this cycle was driven by anything other than May's horrifying platform (and numerous gaffes)?
Who knows if she did it deliberately.
I wanted Corbyn to have the base intelligence necessary to understand the importance of remaining in the Single Market.
The only party leader I have any respect for is Sturgeon…although May did just do a pretty great job of getting the Youth vote to show up and block Brexit, something that, unlike Corbyn, she actually opposes.
You're right. The only person any party has offered since Brown who was actually interested in governing the UK destroyed his political career with the Brexit vote, because the youth don't vote Conservative.
You know, Corbyn did do a great job of "getting the youth vote out" in this election.
…but what if Diana rescues his soul from the underworld as the climax?!
Steve accompanying her through the underworld could be absolutely fantastic.
"To be a spy you need to display a certain amount of…vigor."
"Specs?! Really? As if she's still not the most beautiful woman you've ever seen?"
Any non-Leaver would do.
…or maybe we should blame Labour's base, for refusing to nominate a legitimate alternative to May or Cameron?
I'm still waiting on Ennis's Dastardly and Muttley!
It sounds like a rough draft, where the editor crosses that line out and replaces with "Do you know how many times I've fought Magneto?!"
He drew Ellis's.
Like Johnny in the Negative Zone.
You already said he's Quebecois. Jerk is redundant.
