I think the show was pretty clearly pushing the idea that Danny's conception of "the right thing" is insanely stupid and destructive in the modern business world.

S2 of Luke Cage should be Heroes for Hire, and S2 of Iron Fist should be Daughters of the Dragon.
And it's worth noting that these guys are supposed to be an order of magnitude more powerful than anyone Matt faces, other than perhaps Nobu…and Danny beats them all fairly easily.
