I am shocked that a film whose plot focuses around a white person about to attend an all-boys boarding school doesn't address the devastating effects of criminality, high unemployment, foreclosure, or discrimination upon the lives of supposedly common people. I have not been so upset since Diary of Wimpy Kid 3

Is it too early to start saying "This is Azeroth"?

Charmed did this a couple of times. The main plot of one episode practically relied on Dishwalla's popularity being enough to make a club the hottest place in town. Surprise surprise, a Faustian pact with a demon manager was required.

It is also good for making you appreciate the actors in other roles. The guy who plays Delko on Miami was the patient of the week on Necessary Roughness, and even though it wasn't a great bit of acting, it was still enjoyable because of how different it was than his grim, occasionally angry crime tech.

What actually makes CSI: New York different from its siblings? Miami at least had the decency to kind of embrace its lack of quality, but New York actually feels like they took CSI and put it in New York.

The US coverage did show and mention the Suffragettes, but they appeared to be either standing still or walking around.

I wish the Opening Ceremonies had a bit more of an all-encompassing vision. Lots of pretty bits, but because the various segments didn't build to any greater point it seemed like the message was just, "Britain sure has a lot of nice things." I get that not everything is going to be a show of national power, identity,

You mean there are things more interesting than a Humble Youth Who Overcame His\Her Background To Compete Against Titans? My favorite was an ice skating competition a few years ago when you had the Humble American Youth Of Freedom versus the Evil Russian Guy In Black Stuff.

I'm disappointed that none of these options even hint at "embrace the absurdity of your film and have dance-fights to determine the fate of the world".
