That Buffy episode
Chris—That episode of Buffy was great. Some of SMG's best acting, I think. The fact that the episode ended with a pull out from the room in the asylum made it extra creepy, seeing as it should have closed in the "real" world of Sunnydale.
Please Let the Sucking End
The show has been pretty awful since the hiatus. As recently as last fall, I said that this was the most enjoyable show I watched. Now, I'm looking like a fool. They need to turn this shit around starting next week. I hope All the Pretty Colors is right and the last 3 episodes were…
". . . she would have her finger alongside the trigger guard"
gil - You need a DVR. My wife was doing the fast forwarding and overshot the scene the first time (it was right after commercial). She got it back to the beginning though. I had to control myself to say, "Yeah, you better not skip that!"
At first I thought that Cameron's bra and panties walk-by was gratuitous, but it actually did serve the story of John's feelings for her and Sarah's concerns about their relationship. So at first I was a bit insulted and then I was okay.
mbs —That was the funniest thing you've said in a while.
I don't know about Athena, but I wish that Boomer had blocked the scene so I could see better. (See her nekkid. Having sex.)
@Alurin: Right.
Smoove B. Love does not play autotune.
I once walked in on Iggy Pop and Jerry Garcia in an outhouse hepped up on goofballs playing a cover of "If I Were a Rich Man." They just kept playing, leaning on each other as I did my business (#2). It fucking rocked.
Jondavid666-you must chill. The dude's just borrowing the intermediate, advanced, etc. structure from AVClub's Primer column. I don't think I recognize you boy.
Warren Oates sez, "There's too many notes! Why are there so many notes!"
He's not her boyfriend! I think that was made abundantly clear.
@Richter: My wife thinks the same thing.
@Ninja: Legitamate? More like IllegitaMate(tm)! That's the Dollhouse brand of 'ho.
@Hotel: I noticed the AI connection too. I, however, thought that was the most powerful scene in the movie, which, though flawed, I like much better than most of Speilberg's output.
@Oscar: The running comment is valid. She should be able to be vulnerable and afraid but still run like the outdoorsy, athletic type she was imprinted as.
Whether the safety was "on" or not is unimportant, Derek figured she wouldn't know anyway. On the other hand, the cop, who had a revolver, did keep his finger off the trigger I think, even though the hammer was not pulled back. He might have had his finger on though. I'm not going to go look. Dude, I'm BUSY.
Needless to say, there was no sex.
