ACTUAL COMMUNITY NEWS!

I drove by a car with a "Giant Comet 2016" bumper sticker this morning. I hope that dude is happy!

This has been my way of thinking for a while-Chuck's condition is a manifestation of his treatment of Jimmy. I don't think it's a coincidence that the only time we really saw him improving was when he had completely cut Jimmy out of his life, nor do I think its a coincidence that his mania reached never before seen

It's definitely not on Hannibal's level, but Hannibal was one of the best shows ever and completely broke the mold, so that's OK. I feel like American Gods is grappling with bigger questions than Hannibal was interested in, and if you don't do that precisely its going to lead to things getting repetitive or feeling

Hell no! Buy the ticket, take the ride.

I agree that it's edging up close to greatness, and even manages to achieve it in individual moments, but there's something holding it back from hitting that standard consistently. I would chalk it up to a few things:

TV:

How Was Your Pop Culture Weekend?

Yeah, definitely felt the truncated episode order here. They still managed to end the season with a bit of flash but they are still one major set piece shy of where I guessed they'd end up.
