Well, I finally finished The Dark Tower, just in time to get hopeful about (and be inevitably disappointed by) the film adaptation. I really hope it's good now.

My guess would be it could be applied to any government official/body, but not a private citizen.

A First Amendment rights group based out of Columbia University is demanding that Trump unblock everybody that he has blocked on twitter, claiming that his twitter feed is a designated public forum and blocking people is depriving them of their right to free speech.

I was so happy to be back at the Alligator Bar! When the first promo pics were released the one of it was kind of off putting…it looked overlit, overbright, and kinda garish. The way it looks on screen is a million times better.

I love the way the show is filling in the gaps that the book left unfilled. Laura and Sweeney disappear for long stretches? Let's show what they got up to, and throw in a one off character from the book to boot. I never knew I needed a road trip movie starring those three, but now I wonder how I ever got by without it.

Nope, it started during a depressing time in my life and was too depressing for me to watch at the outset. Now that things are good and it has so thoroughly kicked the rest of TV's ass, I'm planning on diving in soon.

I've heard it moves away from that as it gets further into its run, but that's the same reason why I never made it past the pilot.
