I meant that he changes his name since Jimmy McGill is no longer allowed to practice law. Not like it's a legal loophole, but like he creates a new identity in order to illegally practice.

"There is NO reputable vendor…"

Chuck rolls the tape off the wall slowly. Jimmy rips it off. Try as he might to take it slow, it's not his nature.

I honestly didn't realize it was the same character until this thread pointed it out, and I even thought during the episode they should have had it be the same woman. She's unrecognizable.

And Victor!

But that allows him to pass the savings on to you, man.

I liked the slow reveal. They had Gus lingering in the background while Jimmy was distracted so I kept thinking Gus would come up from behind and surprise him. They dragged it out, and dragged it out, and dragged it out, and then shifted our focus to the guy Jimmy was tailing and got me trying to figure out what he…

The look on Jimmy's face when he said "Kim, I'm fine." :( Who would have thought Odenkirk had it in him 5 or so years ago?

So yeah, Better Call Saul is the best show on TV, but fuck is it emotionally draining. AMC needs to start airing it at, like, 6 pm so I have time to mentally recover and level out before trying to go to bed.

I don't comment on many shows outside of the CZ anymore, but Better Call Saul is totally worth it. Donna's reviews are great, the community is solid and insightful, and all the "SKYLAR SUCKS LULZ" types seem to have vanished.

TV:

You get paid for overtime? LUCKY.

How Was Your Pop Culture Weekend?

But he said he was against the war in Iraq! That means he'd never use the biggest bomb he could get away with using, that was in no way used to not so subtly compensate for his tiny hands and other shortcomings, right?

In a way, hasn't he always been in that elevator?

Normally it takes getting robbed by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon's fake nose to lose money in the casino business.

His is not the first comparison I've seen to a lesser Pierce Brosnan era Bond film. I can see how that could happen to this franchise. If you have to keep getting bigger and bigger to top yourself, eventually you end up with a heaping helping of self parody.

Him write real good.

NON-CANONICAL!

I approve. I extra double special approve if they find a way to get Cable to order a stack of pancakes.
