Even if you wouldn't say you're happy, that's still a huge step.

Good! That is wonderful to hear. What is the biggest difference between where you are and where you were?
I would say its a marketing term more than anything. The term "young adult" is so wide ranging and can encompass so many different genres that I'm hesitant to say it is a genre on its own. At most I'd say it's a group of shared tropes between different kinds of novels (which have all been enumerated below-teen…
First and most importantly, you ok?
Trump will say something like "he's a hero for exposing crooked Hillary and I have no reason to force him to hold to a promise he made to Obama", the average Trump voter will go along with it and not see the irony, and congressional Republicans will smile and nod and continue to conveniently ignore every opinion they…
To think there was a time when Goldwater was the outlying extremist. Sigh.
Probably the most honest moment of any of the confirmation hearings, tbh.
Album cover of the year right there.
I don't mind Mary so that could also be part of why it doesn't bother me. She was a fun addition to the show's dynamic, even though she pulled it away from the Sherlock/Watson core somewhat. She still feels like a late addition to the show, even though she's appeared in half the episodes.
Wonderful!
Perhaps, but I never recorded a full length album. So you've got me there!
Gotcha. I just finished the first episode but I immediately latched on to the similarities to Pushing Daisies, from the narration to the color scheme to the camera work on down. That's a good thing, btw.
For those of you who have read A Series of Unfortunate Events, is the Pushing Daisies aesthetic something you could have seen coming based on the novels or is it something that is being forced on the show because Sonnenfeld is involved? Because it is definitely noticeable but feels like it totally fits the off-kilter…
Why did you choose your avatar?
I'm still OK with the DVD after a night of sleeping on it, even without the "make it clear to the fanbase" perspective. Not only for the reasons I listed below, but because Mary has shown that she gets the Sherlock/John relationship better than even they do. She's the Sherlock Holmes of Sherlock and John, and I get…
Yeah, it could have easily been a Mamma Mia! situation where they clearly had to shoehorn the narrative to fit the songs, but these flowed really smoothly. Overall, I think the songs in An American in Paris fit the story a teensy bit better (though it still had a couple of those "Broadway Melody" moments where they…
Ohhhh this reminds me, I also did the Dodongo's Cavern dungeon of Ocarina of Time. All this Breath of the Wild talk has me in the mood for some quality Zelda time.
I went to go see Singin' in the Rain for the first time (don't tell anybody). Just about as joyful a film as I've ever seen.
Happy birthday, Dave!
