I've heard them say "I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses." Just weiging in.

Dwight was counting on their greed and boredom to get them to participate without too many questions.
Maybe he'll become a VAMPIRE!
Surprised but relieved to see support for Unbreakable. I loved that film, flaws and crap ending and all. Any more, all it takes is one or two amazing scenes or performances, and I can call a movie good. Unbreakable has the best scene ever filmed in how it captured the art of a comic book (so much better than Ang Lee's…
The writing was excellent at the beginning, and so was the acting. Sure, it went off the rails later on. But it was pretty compelling at times.
Coulraphobia.
Hearkens back to…
- "Oh God, that perm!" Claire exclaims, looking at old pictures in the Viewmaster. "Yeah, it really framed my face," Phil recalls.
Kinda sweet, but…
That Vitamin Water's not bad.
That shower scene, it made me so hopeful that Alan T. really was going to kill the kid.
It's kind of a TV trope to have therapists be trusting and understanding. You know, dumbasses.
I heard him say in an interview that it's "in which we're livin'".
Eerie but ultimately annoying
I thought the whole journey of the autistic kid, including, as has been mentioned, the strangely fitting help from Latino dude, was very weird and twisty. When the main adults all converged, that was awesome. Until Shakespeare pitched a hissy fit, and the whole thing became stupid.
Every time one of them said the name Benford I thought about Tool Time.
It made me sad…
…all over again.
Taste the Beast and under_scoring, whew, thank you. I was getting scared that no-one would recognize that live version. What's cool about it is that it's all shouty and kind of sounds like karaoke. What sucks is that it fit horribly with that scene.
Same reaction to that pull-back and caption, Anon. They held the caption and the … was it a crane shot?… for such a long time, my sister and I were "XX Prison, Germany? So?"
Sigh.
I agree
…with almost everything here, and yet I liked this movie. I still liked it. Reading about the scenes and characters makes me laugh. There's something about it that is wonderously tedious and strange.
Thank you…
Mr. Oswalt, for explaining the story behind the evisceration of Reaper by The CW, which we all suspected and now mourn. I wonder if there's any chance Butters & Fazekas might revisit the concept now that they're working with Whedon?
Agreed JDL, well said. I only differ in that I think we WILL get a third season of Reaper, and yes, I'd like to see it get darker and explore more of the mytharc. We're believing that ABC Studios is serious about shopping the show either to syndication or cable. Great summary of the current status here by the way: http…
